Each GRAP version is bundled with a dedicated collection of Escher maps. Our aim is to keep the maps updated with our database contents. Maps are hand-drawn by our contributors, adhering to conventional disposition of reactions and metabolites: they resemble the KEGG pathway maps. While we take inspiration from KEGG maps, we can also also go beyond KEGG and draw totally custom maps. Like for the development of our universe, the drawing of our Escher maps is a collaborative effort opened to anyone.
